Frequently Asked Questions

How do I calculate the final price after a discount?
Multiply the original price by (1 − discount rate). For a 30% discount on ₹1,000: 1,000 × (1 − 0.30) = ₹700. This tool does that instantly.
How do I find the original price from a discounted price?
Divide the sale price by (1 − discount rate). If you paid ₹700 after a 30% discount, the original price was 700 ÷ 0.70 = ₹1,000.
How do stacked discounts work?
Stacked discounts (e.g. 20% off then 10% off) are not simply additive. First apply 20% to the original, then 10% to that result — equivalent to a ~28% total discount, not 30%.
Is this free?
Yes, completely free. Works for any currency and any discount percentage.
